mikebenscott
Hi, im a mac user and I've recently moved into university. i have been using bittorrent with no problems when i use my iPhone's personal hotspot to download torrent files. i have recently bought an ethernet cable and plugged it into the socket in my room. i have started using that as its much quickly to surf the web. i'm trying to download torrents via bit torrent and it won't let me. the connection status is unavailable. i can download music fine using youtube converters but for some reason i can't download torrents. i have turned off my firewall and it still hasn't worked. Is there some way to solve this problem and allow me to download torrents via an ethernet cable? Thanks
Harold Feit
The problem is likely that the university network blocks torrents. As such, there's not much that we can do to help.
