Location of temp. files not in $HOME/.sync directory

fs-btsync

Hello,

when I run btsync on my media server I and store backups on a external USB disc.

I see such temp files here:

cd .sync

ls -l [0-9A-F]*

-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 98 Jul 2 01:15 6736369FE65F3FE32935F1A66C57DADDB5F5CA01

-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 3902 Jul 2 01:15 7CF0251A96E2B6F6CCE9D57702702EADF2290888

-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 159 Jul 2 01:15 88C9C2FD5834E6FFB107A7076E3363EB5E5474E3

-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 98 Jul 2 01:15 99E11FCBA24634C5E5F34405B169CCBEF98A48A6

These files should be created somewhere in /tmp, because the media server has an SSD.

Is there any way to configure this ?

My first idea was, to un-tar the sync users home directory in /tmp and run btsync there.

But then the persistent metacache must be symlinked to the disk.

This may be possible, but it would be more convenient, if temporary files are created below /tmp.

Thanks.

Best regards

Frank
