demonspawn79
Since yesterday I've been recieving these notices from Avast! every 10-15 seconds when Bittorrent is open. I don't really know much about ceretificates and I don't want to add it to exclusion list until I know what it is. Any help or advice would be appreciated. Here's the notice I'm getting:

demonspawn79
Overparanoid security settings.I'm not sure what that means. They are the default setiings from when I first installed it on this computer in January, and this is the first time I've seen this notification. If you know what it means or how to fix it I would greatly appreciate it. I'm relatively computer illiterate so I don't really know what to do, I just know the notifications every 10-20 seconds when Bittirrent is open is getting really annoying. Harold Feit
The short version is that the client on that particular address has their listen port set to be the same as one of the e-mail defaults. It's a false positive because avast doesn't even pretend to try to look at the traffic type. PinkiesBrain
I just hit cancel. I won't enter an exclusion for Bittorrent.
Harold Feit
It's not actually sending mail. It's connecting to someone who set their listen port to the same as SMTP.Not allowing the traffic blocks you from getting pieces from that peer.
