woutervanvliet
I use a Nexus 7, WiFi-only model, which I connect to my phone's hotspot for connectivity when I'm not in range of another network (ie. home, work). The phone's hotspot is marked as a mobile network in the Android settings. What I'm wondering about, is if the setting not to use cellular data for syncing extends to WiFi networks that are marked as mobile? And if it's not the case, I'd like to put this down as a feature request. Alternatively, an option to restrict syncing to selected WiFi networks would be a great one to have and could serve the same purpose.
