Very slow download speed, help :[

So basically, my download speed is very very low on bit torrent for some reason. I get around 200 - 300 kbps, yet on steam, origin, chrome etc I get 3 - 5 MBps. So you see why I'm so confused. Please help me. :[

Edit: I should probably add that my internet was upgraded and I used to get 1Mbps on bit torrent and the same for steam etc.
