ricatchnc Posted September 13, 2013 Report Share Posted September 13, 2013 BitTorrent on my Droid HD MAXX uses cellular data to sync even when the "Use Cellular Data" setting for the app is not checked. This is for sync, not backup. Previously, before I discovered the setting, I had the problem of using up my plan data in a single day, so set the app to use WiFI only. I recently added a large directory to sync and experienced the problem, again. The phone's app data usage log confirm this. Could it be that the setting is only effective for folders being sync'd when the option is set and that sync items added after the option is set aren't constrained?
