RedShadoww Posted September 15, 2013 Report Posted September 15, 2013 For around 3 days bittorrent has been slowing down our internet no matter what the speeds were. I've been using it for 2 years and I had no problem, and recently we even upgraded our internet. Has there been some kind of update that uses up maximum bandwidth or something? Or could there be a problem with our internet? I've checked our speeds when I'm not using bittorrent and it seems to be just a tiny bit lower than usual but not something our internet providers would care about because it's in the range it should be. If I told my internet providers that bittorrent is the issue they won't bother looking into it anymore so what should I say?
Harold Feit Posted September 15, 2013 Report Posted September 15, 2013 When you upgraded your internet, were you given any new hardware to install?

Xencored Posted September 16, 2013 Report Posted September 16, 2013 Check your upload speed, if you max out on that it will slow everything down set it to about 90%
