I recently downloaded BitTorrent and when a file has finished downloading and I go to 'Remove' it from my torrents list, it deletes the contents completely and I have to go into my Recycle Bin and restore it! I've been looking for solutions online and supposedly when you click 'Remove' or even hit 'delete' on your keyboard, it should only remove the completed torrent rather than the associated contents from your disc.
