pacman7293
Hi, I'm on a mac os x 10.9 using uTorrent. I'm pretty sure this network blocks bittorrent. As i'm not getting much bandwidth through the client but I'm able to download at megabytes per second through website downloads. How to I verify this is blocked? I'm on a new network. So far whenever I cue up a download it's zero bandwidth download no matter what file I cue, popular or not. If it is blocked how can I get around it? I'm pretty new at this so i'd appreciate any help.
Harold Feit
utorrent has their own support forums, and if your internet provider blocks bittorrent traffic, the only viable solution is to get internet from a provider that doesn't. pacman7293
http://blog.joshdick.net/2008/06/29/unblocking_bittorrent.html Says it's outdated but... isn't there something along these lines which allow a adept hacker to go around these restrictions? Harold Feit
With the amount of traffic that bittorrent as a protocol uses, you'll still be seen.
