modelmakerblue
Hi, I have just installed BitTorrent on my brand new PC running Windows 7. When I try to use it I get the message "This program is blocked by group policy", is there a simple work around for this or do I need to delve into the registry which is a bit frightening! Harold Feit
Is this a business issue machine or one you purchased yourself?
modelmakerblue
This is a PC I purchased myself for home use.
Harold Feit
Then you'd need to have a good long talk with whoever you bought it from, because restrictive group policies don't solve problems.

modelmakerblue
I talked to Lenovo who said it was nothing to do with them and told me to speak to Microsoft. I spent an hour with Microsoft support but they could not figure it out! They will email me if they can find a resolution, in the meantime I can't use BitTorrent or UTorrent. I will give one of their rivals a go.
