Renaming Files

Buenos dias

My TV can't view files with .mkv extencion. I rename files in explorer after downloading, and Bittorrent can't find it.

Can you add new feature - "rename file"?

I am aware of the existence of the "Relocate" feature, but I'd like to point out a few flaws it has, specifically two annoyances and two functionality deficiencies:

 

- files can only be renamed one by one

- when a file is chosen for renaming, its extension is erased, and has to be entered again manually

- files cannot be moved across folders

- files in a subfolder cannot be renamed at all

 

In older versions, files could be manipulated in a separate file manager, and then the alternate location could be entered, which would be nice enough for me. However, if you don't want to allow this option for some reason, you could at least solve my second and fourth issues by appending the former file extension to the file name and letting files be renamed as long as they stay in the same subfolder - I believe these should not take much effort.

Rename file in the case listed by the thread opener won't magically make the TV be able to use it even if it were able to see it.
