eric
Hi, I hope someone can help me with this issue. My computer froze up on me and I had to restart by just shutting it off without the normal shut down procedures. When I opened up bittorrent again, ALL of the working torrents were gone (56 of them). How can I get them back again? I assume that they are still in the computer somewhere. Best, Eric
Harold Feit
%appdata%\bittorrent (put that in the address bar of an explorer window) has the .torrent files. http://www.utorrent.com/help/guides/migrate has steps to follow to get them loaded again. COPY THE .TORRENT FILES TO A NEW FOLDER TO LOAD THEM.

Well, sorry, it does, but is does not seem to be useful ... it's someting about deleting files .. anyway ... the indicated path to the fiels does not apply to me either ... -> C:Users ...appdata/roaming/bittorrent.I have checked all the folders unders "User" one by one and not found any appdata/roaming/bittorent (files)
dreich
Hi, Harold, thanks for the help ! I found the torrents where you told me (%appdata%\bittorrent) but .... it seems to me that the torrents there are there are the ones I have already completely downloaded and already saved. My problem are the movies that were downloading when the crash occured, because they just disappeared ... well as well as the already completely downloaded ones. So, if the downloaded ones are somewhere in the computer, is the same valid for the downloading ones, or have I lost them ?? TY !
Harold Feit
They're all in that folder unless disk damage erased them.
dreich
They're all in that folder unless disk damage erased them. Ok. then you say ;http://www.utorrent..../guides/migrate has steps to follow to get them loaded again. COPY THE .TORRENT FILES TO A NEW FOLDER TO LOAD THEM I am so sorry, but I went to that page and did not understand a word, neither the appropiate parapragh to follow I neither understand what do you mean by COPY THE .TORRENT FILES TO A NEW FOLDER TO LOAD THEM If you could explain to me the steps to follow in understandable, not specialised vocabulary ... (I am an PC analphabet...) ... I would be so grateful. Thanks!
