How Does Bittorrent And Μtorrent Open Ports, And How Can It Be Replicated?

Recently, my modem got DDoS'd and went haywire, closing all my ports. Every port I add says success, but canyouseeme.org tell's me it's not visible. However, µTorrent and BitTorrent ports I choose are shown as open, so at the moment I can only have two ports open at a time. 

 

Is there any program, or method that opens a multitude of ports of your choice? I'd rather not have to use Torrent applications to port forward.

That is my final solution, I was just hoping for a less tedious way. Also, the M in "MTorrent" in the heading is supposed to be the micro sign, no idea why it formatted so weirdly.
