karanmalushte Posted February 8, 2014 Report Share Posted February 8, 2014 Hello Everyone, Recently I got a new Dell Laptop with pre installed Windows 8. I installed Bittorrent on it. And after 5 mins from starting the download. It crashes to BSOD. I also do have a Desktop with windows 8.1 and it has the same problem. On windows 7 it works fine but not on Windows 8/8.1. Try to check if you have a firewall program such as Comodo, Norton, Kaspersky. Also, try to check if McAfee is pre-installed from the time you purchased your computer. These programs are known to have issues with torrents.
