Connecting To Only One Peer

I am having a problem that i can't seem to get right

 

Bittorrent was working perfectly until a week ago then it just stopped working all together.

I managed to get it to work, but it only downloads from one peer regardless of how many peers or seeders there are.

 

I have read through countless post but was unable to come right

 

please help

 

P.S i have allowed Bittorrent through my anti virus then deleted the anti virus, i have also tried the setup guide yet to no avail

What setup guide did you use to configure BitTorrent's settings?

i used the options then setup guide the one that tests bandwitdth and network, which gives me a green tick across both every time. I even tried re-installing bittorrent completely but still nothing

So you didn't follow any youtube "speed up bittorrent" guides?

If you did, your settings aren't supported anymore.

 

Do torrents from http://www.slackware.com/getslack/torrents.php give the same behavior?

luckily the other threads warned me about the youtube guides so i have stayed away from them.

with regards to the link to slackwire, to be honest i have no idea what it is or what to do

Just pick one of the torrents and see if it does the same thing as your others.

Stop all your other torrents (pausing isn't enough) before testing.

i stopped all torrents except one (even the ones im seeding)

and still the same except this time it is connecting to one seed not one peer.

Don't know if this makes a difference
