Upgrading To Bittorrent Plus Error (Signer Certificate Mismatch)

I upgraded to BitTorrent Plus. everytime I open the program I see it doing a download in the lower left corner. It downloads to 100% and then i get an error pop up stating

 

The install of C:\users\Appdata\roaming\BitTorrent\bitdefender.btinstall failed.

(Signer Certificate mismatch)

 

How do I fix this?

Are you on the latest version of BT? Help -> check for updates to make sure.

I have the latest version, when I checked for an update it confirmed it.

I am getting the same error after purchasing BitTorrent Plus and trying to install my license key.  According to the About box I do have BitTorrent Plus 7.8.2 despite the errors.

I have the same trouble. Just upgrade to BitTorrent Plus then download the link, open it... by the way does any one know why utorrent is installed to download the installation? I did not have it before, I was using bittorrent.

Anyway after 3 hours always the same message: Signer certificate mismatch

Is there any help somewhere?

I found out that being BitTorrent Plus customers we can email support directly to resolve the problem.  Just click on the following link and fill out the form.  Be sure to have the email address you used when buying BitTorrent Plus or order reference number to fill out the form.

There is a new build they just put out that fixes this problem. I just downloaded and installed it with no issues.

 

It is

BitTorrent Stable (7.8.2 build 30571)
