Unable To Download Torrent From A Single System On Network...

Hi All,

I am in need of some assistance with downloading torrent files on a specific machine on my network.

The system is running Windows Server 2012 and the torrent files are stuck in a "connecting to peer" state.

I can download the exact same torrent file from any other PC/Laptop on the network without issues.

So despite being in the UK and having a number of sites blocked by my ISP, torrents do still work for me.

As it is my server, ports are forwarding on my router for various features, such as remote access.

The firewall on the server is also set to allow connections.

I cant work out what could be blocking my torrents from downloading.

Does anyone have any info/troubleshooting I can carry out?

Thank you

DHT - Waiting for Announce

Local Peer Discovery - Working

Peer Exchange - Working

The trackers are mainly showing "Connection timed out"

One says working but the torrent status is still showing "Connecting to peers" another tracker shows "hostname not found"

I use windows firewall, so I have set inbound and outbound rules to allow all from the BitTorrent application.

I also set Allow rules for the specific port I use for port-forwarding torrents.

Issue fixed by deleting and recreating firewall rules

Setup rules in Windows firewall:

Inbound -

Allow Program - BitTorrent - TCP
Allow Program - BitTorrent - UDP

Allow Port - <Port Number> - TCP

Allow Port - <Port Number> - UDP

Outbound -

Allow Program - BitTorrent - TCP
Allow Program - BitTorrent - UDP

Allow Port - <Port Number> - TCP

Allow Port - <Port Number> - UDP

Hope that may help others, I know it may duplicate access but it works for me :D
