RPH Posted June 16, 2014 Report Share Posted June 16, 2014 Hi, I remote desktop to a machine in another room locally and normally start Bittorent before closing remote desktop and leaving the machine downloading overnight. This used to work PERFECTLY. However now I see that when closing remote desktop connection the other pc just signs out completely closing all programs that are running !? RPH Posted June 16, 2014 Author Report Share Posted June 16, 2014 Hi, yes it's not really a problem with Bittorent however I thought other users may use Remote Desktop for the same purpose and may have encountered the same issue...I have also tried asking on the Microsoft forums. RPH Posted June 16, 2014 Author Report Share Posted June 16, 2014 When I disconnect, the 2nd PC logs out yes; obviously terminating all my open applications....If I start programs directly from the 2nd PC then try logging in remotely, I get the welcome screen then immediately a signing out screen and Remote Desktop closes....
