tcan
How do I turn the 'filename.torrent.loaded' files back into 'filename.torrent' files. Simply changing the extension doesn't seem to work. Right now bittorrent is still able to recognize them as torrent files. But because the extension change, I cant use them outside of bittorrent. Thanks for the help. Harold Feit
You're going to need to stop using the "Automatically load .torrent files from" function if you want the torrents to not get renamed.

That doesn't fix the 800 torrents that are already renamed.
Harold Feit
There are batch renamer applications available that can rename entire folders at once. BitTorrent stores a separate copy of the .torrent files elsewhere for its own use.

It's modified the file too somehow. If you know where it stores the copies. I'd love to know, because they don't show up in my search.

tcan
Torrents are saved to and loaded from E:/.torrent files. "Store in" box was unchecked. I've unchecked the "load from" box, and rechecked the "store in" box but the files remain filename.torrent.loaded.
Harold Feit
The settings aren't retroactive to already loaded torrents, and enabling the "Store in" setting is unnecessary in your setup. %appdata%\bittorrent has BitTorrent's working copies.
