Guest Rachel
Lately, since I began using the "timer" feature on Bit Torrent, I wake up to find at least 10 torrents downloading that I DID NOT PUT THERE. It's always the same files: Dexter, Stargate Universe, Windows 7 Ultimate, The Ricky Gervais Show, Sony Vegas Movie Software, and a few others. Does this mean my bit torrent has been hacked? I run Bit Torrent on a Mac and have never had any viruses on here before. What should I do???
Harold Feit
Do you have an autoload directory defined in your preferences?
Guest Rachel
I think so. It says "automatically load from" and I chose the folder "downloads". Should I disable that function?
Harold Feit
Yes. There's only a small number of reasons to have that setting enabled, and "accepting torrents from the browser" isn't one of them.
