Really Slow Download Sped For No Apparent Reason

hi everyone, i started a download today after a long time i didn't use bittorrent and i noticed that the download, despite having a considerable number of seeds, never goes over 60-70 Kb/s.

i know my internet connection is capable of more since on speediest i usually get 70-80 MB down and 10 MB up (i'm not at home atm so i can't post the results now) and i can download from steam at 13-15 MB/s.

 

is there a reason for this massive different in download speed or it could just be that i have the wrong settings (i just set the upload and download speed both to 0 - unlimited and i'm not uploading anything atm but i didn't do anything more)

If torrents from http://slackware.com/getslack/torrents.php give the same behavior, you have a hostile internet provider interfering.
