Can't restore BitTorrent

Hello everyone.

I am having a problem with my BitTorrent.

First let me say thank you for your great program! I'm a BIG fan of BitTorrent and it's 2-3 years that I'm using it and thank you again for making this program better and better.

I've updated my BitTorrent from V7.2 to 7.6 two days ago. I was not using my BitTorrent for a while since I was busy, but now I'm using it again.

Everything is fine when the PC is not idle. But when I'm leaving the PC, BitTorrent works for a few hours(not sure how much), but when I'm coming back to PC(it's tomorrow), I want to open the BitTorrent but I can't restore it from the system tray. However when I'm turning the monitor on and moving the mouse, a ballon is coming up from the BitTorrent and it tells me what torrents are completed downloading, just like the old days. Even when I'm moving the mouse on BitTorrent on the system tray it shows me the informations like up and down speed and torrents information. I wanna say it's not freezing, I just can't restore it. When I'm trying to open the BitTorrent from the bittorrent.exe, it's not working. It should open the BitTorrent or give you a message that BitTorrent is already running or not responding, right? But I don't get any messages. The only way to open the BitTorrent again is rebooting or ending the process.

That would be great if anyone can help me.

I'm running the BitTorrent on Windows 7 Ultimate 32-bit, with ESET Smart Security V5 and Malwerbytes' Anti Malware(it's fine to run both on a system and it's a long time that I'm using them).

Processor AMD quad core, 2GB of RAM DDR2 and ATI on board graphic. Let me add this that I'm closing all unnecessary programs when I'm leaving the PC.

Sorry everyone, I've forgot to tell something important. When that problem is happening the BitTorrent stops downloading and doesn't download or upload at all but when I move the mouse on its icon on system tray it says it's downloading and uploading with the normal speed. Too weird!

Is your installed ESET the antivirus, firewall or complete package?

If it's the antivirus OR complete package, then it may be that malwarebytes is tripping over it.

It's complete package but I turn the firewall off when the BitTorrent is downloading.

And the Malwarebytes', as I said I'm using both at the same time for a long time now and running both on a machine is totally fine, however I'll exit Malwarebytes' tonight to see if BitTorrent freezes or not.

Sorry for posting a lot but I really need help.

I've a new information that might be helpful.

Yesterday when I started using my computer I had to close BitTorrent since it was on not responding and after that I opened it.

I've used the PC for like 10 hours and I didn't leave the PC at all, I was uisng it the whole time.

After using the computer for 10 I was going to leave it to idle so I've tried to resume the BitTorrent but I realised that BitTorrent freezed during using the PC.

I'm not sure when it freezed but I guess after 6 to 8 hours that BitTorrent was open. What I'm trying to say is the BitTorrent freezes even if I don't leave the PC.

Please please help me, it's really bothering me.

Am I dreaming?! BitTorrent is running for 3 days without any problems. No hangs. Amazing.

Here's the deal. I updated my BitTorrent from V7.6.1 to V7.7 build 27824 and I no longer have the freezing problem.

I saw a few topics and lotta reply about freezing problem on V7.6.1. Now may I ask what was the change? I mean what was the problem on the previous versions? Keep the change in future updates!

However, I had a little problem with the update. When I updated, and opened the BitTorrent, the client started some of my stopped torrents using "Force start". Almost 30 of them. That was annoying. I had to remove the downloaded files and stop the torrents again.

One more thing. The client didn't update to V7.7 itself. Even when I checked for new version, it said there is no update. I had to download and install myself.

There is someone on another topic that has the same problem and he posted on 01 Septemer. I think his client isn't able to find the update as well. I'll there post and say about the update. Please check the updater.
