tbarguy
New mac owner, computer bozo, but i have been using bittorent successfully for years. had it running on the new mac , until it decided it would like a holiday and proceeded to shut down every time it was opened. figured, bad file, delete and re-install. now, everytime i attempt to install bittorrent for mac, it is immediately deleted by norton. who is norton and why does he have uber-power... anywho, attempted to completey disable norton long enough to install bittorent, but mr nortons remnants are enough to cause me fits. figured "must be a common problem, maybe this is the piracy war"... no other such thread exists. who is smart enough to fix a dummies problems? Harold Feit
Norton is an internet security software package known for excessive resource use, false positives and false negatives. I'd recommend uninstalling it.
