supremegeek
I have a download that is only getting to 5.5%. I usually have 10 or more peers with 98% or more. I have removed and readded this torrent several times. The completed download would be about 75GB with over 100 GB free space. Thank you
Harold Feit
What is the listed availability for the torrent?
supremegeek
It is 0.968 It will show that it is downloading 0.1k from a couple of peers for a split second every once in a while.
Harold Feit
You're not going to be able to complete the torrent as long as the availability lists less than 1.
supremegeek
Thanks. Any idea why it would ib that low with 6 or more people sharing with more than 98% consistently?
Harold Feit
Because the last 2% isn't available on ANY of the peers you're connected to.
supremegeek
Because the last 2% isn't available on ANY of the peers you're connected to.Is there any way to force it to download what is available? I know I have been in this situation before and just sat there for 2 weeks with like 95%. Then one day after those couple of weeks I looked and it was complete. Harold Feit
With the bandwidth availability for the torrent being what it is, no there's no way to force it. You're just going to need to wait.
