Alakite
This morning, BitTorrent worked fine. Then my computer had a bad reaction to some software I installed, and one of the effects was that BitTorrent reset my preferences to default; this included my download-to directory. I reentered the appropriate directory, but the client still isn't seeing the files. I can see the files just fine; they're still in the directory where I want them, but how do I tell BitTorrent where they are?

Alakite
Thanks! What I ended up doing was going in to the BitTorrent directory and copying the .torrent files directly from there into the client, which was easy and worked well. I also learned that BitTorrent keeps .torrents of everything I've ever downloaded, which is convenient if I ever want to redownload something, or seed one I've removed from the destination.
