Apoc Posted July 16, 2016 Report Posted July 16, 2016 Hey all, I don't know if this is the right section to post this but here we go. I'm going on a vacation for the next month and it involves a lot of airplane flights around Europe. To occupy myself during those flights I'm trying to download a few TV Series to watch on my iPad during the flights. It's been a good year and a half since I've actually downloaded any torrets and I remember distinctly that before I used to get a good 10-15MB/s download speed. Right now I'm sitting at 11KB/s. Occasionally will drop down to even 1KB/s and very very rarely will spike up to 250KB/s for a good 20 seconds before going back down. I've tried updating my trackers and messing with a few options but nothing seemed to change the download speed at all. I have bandwith allocation set to high and I have paused any other torrents that I have from seeding. Just so you don't ask me this, my internet connection is fine and here are my speed test results: http://www.speedtest.net/my-result/5480608751 I currently have 5 (129) seeders on the torrent, although just to make sure that wasn't the problem I downloaded a torrent with a few thousand seeders and the download speed was the same. As far as trackers go, I found an updated tracker list online that was updated today and put that into my torrent but the download speed doesn't seem to change at all. Here is the list: udp://tracker.coppersurfer.tk:6969/announce udp://tracker.opentrackr.org:1337/announce http://tracker.opentrackr.org:1337/announce udp://zer0day.ch:1337/announce udp://tracker.leechers-paradise.org:6969/announce http://explodie.org:6969/announce udp://explodie.org:6969/announce udp://9.rarbg.com:2710/announce udp://p4p.arenabg.com:1337/announce udp://tracker.sktorrent.net:6969/announce udp://tracker.aletorrenty.pl:2710/announce http://tracker.aletorrenty.pl:2710/announce http://p4p.arenabg.com:1337/announce http://tracker.baravik.org:6970/announce http://tracker1.wasabii.com.tw:6969/announce udp://tracker.piratepublic.com:1337/announce http://tracker.bittorrent.am/announce udp://tracker.kicks-ass.net:80/announce http://tracker.kicks-ass.net/announce http://tracker.tfile.me/announce I'm just hoping someone can shed some light on me as I'm a total newb to all of this. I'm just looking to get a few gigabytes' worth of torrent downloads in 2 days before my trip. Thank you so much

Adding trackers won't magically change a thing. Do slackware torrents download? http://slackware.com/getslack/torrents.php
