wisconsin1454
I have been using Bittorrent for a while, and when I tried to open it, it crashed shortly after becoming in responsive and freezing completely. I do have a lot of torrents running, but the program freezes so fast I can't get in to stop them. How do I fix this?
Harold Feit
You may need to go to %appdata%\bittorrent and remove the resume.dat and resume.dat.old files (rename or move is recommended instead of delete at this point). What internet security software do you have installed?
wisconsin1454
Where/What do I move/rename those two file to? As for security, I run with Norton.
Harold Feit
just somewhere/something else. And norton is known to be more virus-like than the viruses it claims to protect against.
wisconsin1454
Where and what would you recommend I move them to or rename them to? I actually haven't had any problems with Norton. I am aware of the reputation.
