Guest ichabod777 Posted May 30, 2012 Report Posted May 30, 2012 I have used Bittorrent for years (it seems) with no problems. I just downloaded it onto my new computer and now all I get is the Access Denied error message after it starts to download the torrent. What am I doing wrong.
Guest qmank Posted May 31, 2012 Report Posted May 31, 2012 Same I was working on 7.2.2 and updated and getting access denied.
Harold Feit Posted May 31, 2012 Report Posted May 31, 2012 Have you double-checked the security properties of your downloads folder to make sure your user account has ownership and full control?

Guest wil Posted June 13, 2012 Report Posted June 13, 2012 I was having the same problem and couldn't solve it or find help. I went to Options, preferences, then Directories and chose where I wanted the downloads to go to. My downloads are completed now.
john99 Posted June 15, 2012 Report Posted June 15, 2012 I have exact same problem for the second time access denied.Had it once before and changed download directories which solved problem, does not work this time.Put the Bit torrent on my notebook and it works fine.Problem seem to be linked with upgrading existing version on a PC and the directories it uses .Any help greatly appreciated. Give it a couple of days then I will look for another bit torrent app.
Guest j99mcl Posted June 15, 2012 Report Posted June 15, 2012 just checked the security properties and Harold feint is correct
