Torrented Movie Won't Play Correctly

Okay so I recently downloaded a rather massive file consisting of all 8 seasons of House, M.D. The file took quite a long time, and it's finally been completed. I open up the first episode in Windows Movie Maker, as the extension was .wmk, and the file is shown as a 7 second clip, and as a corrupted file of the sort.

I attempt to play file, and Windows Movie Maker ceases to respond, and I close it. I then try to open the file in Windows Media Player, and the application also force closes.

I try another episode, thinking it was that one file. Nope.

So I'm assuming I should just look for a separate file, but I just wanted to see if anyone had any troubleshooting/diagnostic ideas I should try out.

Thanks in advance.
