cmih
Is there a way to relocate active .torrent files without relocating the data files? Thanks
Harold Feit
Why do you want to relocate the .torrent files? Because of how BitTorrent relies on its cached copy, it's purposefully difficult to do.
cmih
Why do you want to relocate the .torrent files? Because of how BitTorrent relies on its cached copy, it's purposefully difficult to do.I want the .torrent files to be in an encrypted container, not in my application data folder. I understand it may be "difficult" to move the .torrent files, but I want to do it anyway. Can you tell me how to do that, or can you direct me to documentation that explains how to do it? Harold Feit
The short way is to re-set the settings to use your encrypted container then remove and re-add all the torrents.Doing it manually involves manually editing the resume.dat file (which is clunky and SHOULD NEVER BE DONE IN NOTEPAD)
