Guest Seb
Hi. My system auto-rebooted in the middle of a giant torrenting marathon, and BitTorrent is now locked into checking the 20 or so torrents I had running @ 0.1% per 2/3 seconds. This effectively means I'm stuck for hours and I'm on a bit of a time limit. Is there anyway to circumvent this (I don't care about the potential consequences to the files' integrity) or to speed it up? What determines the speed at which the program "checks" torrents? If this is CPU related, how in the name of all that is holy does this stuff take so long on an i7 @ 2.2GHz? I'd rather not nuke the torrents and start over. Thanks for reading. Harold Feit
You can't skip it.Hash check speed is hard drive limited, not CPU.
