Guest Earl Posted May 16, 2011 Report Share Posted May 16, 2011 I have two hard drives in my system and would like not only the complete downloadsbut the temps to be located on my second drive.I use Ccleaner to cleanup the temps on my main drive and I think itswiping out my RSS downloads that are in process and not yet complete.How can I get the temp files aswell as the complete files to go to my second drive? Harold Feit Posted May 16, 2011 Report Share Posted May 16, 2011 Your preferences would need to be defined to have both directories on the second drive.Keep in mind that the preferences are not retroactive to already loaded torrents, so you'll need to use the "Set Download Location" function in the right-click menu on the torrent tasks in BitTorrent in order to change those. Guest Earl Posted May 16, 2011 Report Share Posted May 16, 2011 Thanks for the reply.....I have ALL of the directories set pointing to my second drive.It seems like this program is downloading as TMP files on my first hard drive not the second.I afraid that I'm losing my RSS downloads everytime Ccleaner runs which cleans tmp files on my first hard drive.This program needs to save ALL its work TMPs and complete files on my second hard drive.How can I get it to do this? Harold Feit Posted May 16, 2011 Report Share Posted May 16, 2011 If you're losing all your RSS downloads every time ccleaner runs, it's clearing files it's not supposed to.I would recommend contacting them about setting up an exception for BitTorrent.
