Harold Feit
Is it actually the bittorrent process eating the ram? What internet security software do you have installed?
DeD
I'm using bit defender 2013 total security, and yea it is the process itself - it was working until I did that last update and now it eats up from 350 meg to 1.5 gigs in the matter of secondsIs it actually the bittorrent process eating the ram? What internet security software do you have installed? DeD
Disabled antivirus and firewall, deleted application data when I re-installed.. still the same issue.. the CPU stays at 25% for the bitTorrent process and the ram will climb drastically. I am in the process of creating a secondary account to see if it is profile related somehow.
DeD
I created a new user and it worked with no issue. I will take a look at my current profile and the application settings to see what is causing this.. If anyone has any suggestions please chime in, I have uninstalled it multiple times and still the same issue under my normal profile.
Harold Feit
When you uninstalled, did you purge your settings.dat(.old) and resume.dat(.old) files?
