Osteele
Hello.I recently downloaded a file to my hard drive. I have since lost the original .torrent file. How can I make the downloaded file available for seeding without having to upload the entire ISO file. It happens to be 180gig in size.Thank you
Harold Feit
You'd need to re-locate the .torrent file.Did you check %appdata%\bittorrent?
Osteele
Yes I can see the torrent file in that folder. I can see that the file status is finished when I click on the Completed tab. However, the file does not appear when I click on the Seeding tab. Other files listed there appear to be seeding just fine. I'm stumped. Thanks for the help by the way!
Harold Feit
Then you need to simply hit start on the torrent or adjust its seeding goal.
Osteele
UPDATE. You were absolutely correct. Hitting start began the seeding process. Your time and assistance is greatly appreciated. Have a wonderful day / evening.Excuse my ignorance, but wouldn't hitting start begin an upload? Then you need to simply hit start on the torrent or adjust its seeding goal.
