RPH Posted February 6, 2013 Report Posted February 6, 2013 Hi, I have been trying to download some torrents recently & I have noticed that the speeds are extremely slow. I can only download at night as it seems my ISP blocks the downloads during the day. What I am trying to figure out is what is causing them to download so slowly. I have a capped internet plan so it is almost impossible for me to seed the few torrents that I download which I think has resulted in a bad share ratio (currently 0.037). However could it be the torrents health that is causing the slow download (9 of 11 seeds / +- 9 availability). Or else is it my ISP. What do you guys think based on this info cause it's driving me crazy ? Thanks
Harold Feit Posted February 6, 2013 Report Posted February 6, 2013 I'm leaning towards it being ISP interference. There's nothing in your post to indicate otherwise. The number of seeds on a torrent is ultimately irrelevant to the speed it goes.
