Otter2208 0 Report post Posted February 26, 2013 I have been downloading a very large torrent (150 GB) and today I had to restart my computer. I now notice that Bit Torrent has my file stuck at CHECKING 0%. I was at 96 % of it being downloaded - any way to skip this checking?? Why is it stuck?? UGH!! This is sooooooo frustrating!! Harold Feit 15 Report post Posted February 26, 2013 It is likely stuck because of disk damage, and if BitTorrent was not shut down gracefully, that's why the checking happened in the first place. There is no way to skip the check in your situation. Otter2208 0 Report post Posted February 26, 2013 So if its stuck at 0% what do I do? Delete and start over although I am at 95 % and its taken almost a week to get there.
Harold Feit 15 Report post Posted February 26, 2013 Check your disk for errors (properties of the drive in my computer) and make sure to find and fix errors then reboot and re-check again.
