I keep getting a Torrent Error message stating the torrent download has failed because part of the file is being used by another process. I have tried

everything I can think of and nothing so far works. I have tried restarting the torrents, getting torrents from different sites, and nothing works.This happens with all torrents for a week now. Is this a new virus????? I hope someone out there has an answer. And I hope this is not the end for torrent downloads.

Thank you, Harold for responding. Being new to this I hope I don't screw up too much. Anyway, the anti-virus is AVG 2011 and the indexing software????? Don't want to sound stupid, but what do you mean by indexing software???

Without knowing what potentially interfering indexing or internet security software you have installed, I can't answer that.
