Guest new_user
When I exit from bittorrent, it does not exit completely. I have to go in task manager and end the process. i am using it on Windows Vista home 32-bit OS and a Core 2 intel machine.

Guest new_user
I am using it on Windows Vista home 32-bit OS and a Core 2 intel machine. When i stopped the Avast service, staring and stopping bittorrent behaves as expected and removes the bittorrent process. So, what should I do about Avast? Why does it not let the process terminate? Harold Feit
It's probably something similar to what ZoneAlarm does in that it locks open some of the communication sockets and doesn't release them. Adding an exception to any realtime scanning modules in Avast for BitTorrent will probably help.
