eryanmn
My school uses OpenDNS to block sites, which is annoying because then I can't torrent from my dorm. I've gotten to thepiratebay by using Google's DNS settings (8.8.8.8, 8.8.4.4), but torrents still won't work. Any possible solutions?
kirill2485
Looks like OpenDNS is blocking torrents by looking at the protocol (not ports as bittorrent CAN run on port 80), therefor some torrent clients should be unblocked, the only way to make BitTorrent unblocked is by somehow spoofing the protocol. If none of the random protocals work try spoofing it as TCP. I don't know a way to spoof it though.
Harold Feit
Opendns has nothing to do with port blocking.
