Failure: Torrent Not Found

Greetings:

 

I'm running BT 7.8.2 (build 30332) and have been using this product for a few years now.  I've never run across this situation before.  Googling the 'error' has provided no assistance, yet.

 

I have a torrent of debian-update-7.2.0-i386-DVD-1.iso that, in the Tracker Status column indates "Failure: torrent not found".  However, the torrent has currently downloaded over 80% of the 3.87GB and also is uploading.

 

Is this a problem?  If so, what to do?

It usually means the torrent is old and not followed by the tracker anymore.

You probably got your peers through DHT.

This is a pretty new download, this version was just released October 12.  I got the torrent from the debian website four days ago.

 

Where does one normally go about getting peers?

If it's not from the tracker, DHT is normal.

If it's a new torrent, tell the maintainers that you're getting errors.

I think you may be correct, I found the following under the tracker tab.

I'll contact Debian and see what they say.
