Open your registry editor, locate to and delete the following registry entries: HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.torrent HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\MIME\Database\Content Type\application/x-bittorrent HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\bittorrent HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\BitTorrent (Note: The path of the keys may vary in different operating systems. The guide in this post may be useful.)
Lunna Posted July 29, 2016 Report Posted July 29, 2016 Search the file name on your computer and find its installation directory. If you can't find its position, try: Reboot into safe mode. Show all hidden folders and files . Delete the folder from there. Open msconfig, click the startup tab. Disable bittorrent. Apply and reboot into windows normally. There is another discussion for this bittorrent uninstallation issue, hope it could help. This article may help you with more details to uninstall the program.
