SolariStar
I'm getting the 'The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process.' Error even though I excluded the directories in C drive from indexing. I don't think that I have anymore search indexers running or installed on this computer. Even after rechecking the download it still does it. Just checked and it still does it. It seems like after I took C drive out of indexing this problem got even worse...not even seconds into the download and the download gives that error. (File size of the torrents giving me the Error: 14GB and 12.4GB [respectively])I'm testing the smallest torrent now to see if it gets the error. (a 3GB torrent): So far so good.EDIT: Yep it happened again on the Queen.Discography.Flac torrent. Now I'm trying it with the only media player I use shut down (I'm wondering if Sony's Media Go application has a built in media indexer) and a clean application run. Seems like everything is running smoothly now (I hope I'm not speaking too soon).EDIT 1: Nope did it again. After about 5% more of downloading the torrent. I don't know what else I'm running that can cause this issue. I hope I'm not going to have to resort to something that can break the process/program. Okay I turned off the Windows Search service which causes the indexer to run (instead of just ending process and possibly having it just restart), hopefully this resolves my problem.EDIT 2: I noticed every time it failed when I checked the services tab of the task manager the Windows Search service (which also starts the indexer) rears it's ugly head and starts up again (which in turn probably also restarts the indexer)...so I disabled that darned service for good until I'm done downloading. EDIT 3: My Queen FLAC Discography torrent is still shooting back that file access error, but now not even 5% of the download done (67% done total). Even with the indexer disabled. What else can cause this error?

SolariStar
*quote with two WD Smartware Processes*Do these do automated backup?Yes...when I turned it off it stopped erroring on me, and when I used another hard drives autobackup thing it started out fine, but when it reached the point where it was hitting files that were downloading it gave the error. (for the second one stopping the backup helped)
SolariStar
Here is how to deal with the File Access Error:1) If you're running an instant/a self running backup software - either stop/pause the auto backup or disable the service (WD Smartware Backup Service for the latter.)...and/or2) Just disable the windows indexer and either uninstall the program or disable the service (for the latter it's probably better to remove the whole program because one may not be able to find the service for any other program with an indexer. also: don't run Windows Media Player when downloading)
