cant remove "featured torrent" garbage

for the last month or so I am unable to remove the "featured torrent' garbage at the top of the torrents window, I have tried the "options F8" command to no avail, anyone know how to get rid of this unwanted "feature" this same issue is also happening in utorrent, or do I have to find another torrent program to escape this annoyance ?

This answered my question as well, but I don't have a spons option... using 7.7 (build 27987) 32bit

Only have the following under Advanced - UI Extras, Disk Cache, Web UI, Run Program

Yes, clicking on advanced, then I did a search for "spons" and nothing... see the picture

Then you are not actually on the current version of BitTorrent.

after updating to the latest version, followed the instructions and it worked, thank you, I was dreading having to find another torrent client after many years with bittorrent

At last i solved it with some help...follow this go to prefrence then click on advance and you will see some written material on the right side scroll down and check for offers which are written as offers.content.....etc these are three lines now make them false then click ok then close the bittorrent and restart it you will see no ads or offers any more.Worked for me and i will hope that it will work for you...........i m uploading images but the are not uploading....:-(

I am running 7.7.3 and it does not have a spons in the advance options folder.

How do you disable and remove the Instant Download at the top of the bit torrent window?

It does have the "spons"

Use the filter box in the top right of the advanced section.

I would like to know how to also get rid of the bottom left square advertisement as well, if possible.
