BRENDOW
Hi all, For the last month or so my download rate has been super slow rarely reaching above 60kB/s the speeds I used to receive 800-1200kB/s. I have done a speed test http://www.speedtest.net/my-result/3452077806 and I have checked my that my ISP (Telstra) is not shaping torrents at http://broadband.mpi-sws.org/transparency/bttest.php and the results say “There is no indication that your ISP rate limits your uploads.” And There is no indication that your ISP rate limits your downloads.” I have also checked that there is an exception set on my fire wall. I am hoping that someone is able to advise me if there is anything else to look at… is there any settings I might be able to adjust Cheers, BRENDOW

Harold Feit
Then either you have set a download speed limit in your preferences or your internet provider is actually interfering.
BRENDOW
Then either you have set a download speed limit in your preferences or your internet provider is actually interfering.the speed is set to unlimited "0" and the above thest at http://broadband.mpi-sws.org/transparency/bttest.php says " There is no indication that your ISP rate limits your downloads." Harold Feit
The slackware torrents being slow is the more authoratative test than the transparency test you linked. ISPs have been known to game the results of the transparency test.

Harold Feit
I don't recommend increasing the peer connection counts. That will cause other problems down the road.

I recommend turning on encryption and make sure it's "Required Encryption" not prefered. This is the source of my findings: http://www.smh.com.au/digital-life/computers/blog/gadgets-on-the-go/bypassing-telstras-p2p-crackdown-is-childs-play-20130206-2dy0n.html
